Yellow Bauer Flower Pot

I got extra lucky this week and found this yellow Bauer flower pot at the thrift store for only two dollars. I think no one bought it because it looks like something new at first glance and was not marked as Bauer. In fact, I almost didn’t pick it up myself. I must’ve picked it up and put it down three times. Finally, I just decided to take a chance.
I believe it’s a standard HiFire Spanish Pot in Chinese Yellow(?). The mark on the bottom is simply “Made In U.S.A.” with the number 5. That number 5 was in a font that sort of intrigued me - I thought I remembered seeing a Bauer item with this type of numeral. That was one of the main reasons I got it. I’m not so familiar with the Bauer shapes yet.
It was interesting to me that there is a built in preforation in the pot bottom on both the inside and outside for a drainage hole in case you want to use this pot outside. This is one of the reasons I thought it might be new - it just looked like something that you’d see on a newer pot. The glaze of the pot looked a little “vintage”, but you know how the glazes on newer pots nowadays are awfully good at times. I’ve been fooled before!
