I know this is not Calif Pottery related, but since it’s a pottery show I thought I’d post about it anyhow. The WPA (Wisconsin Pottery Association) is holding its 13th annual show this month on August 23, 2008. Over 50 pottery dealers will be represented.

The show is located in Madison, Wisconsin at the Alliant Energy Center and will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. I believe they will also be selling non-pottery items like furniture and decorative art. They have a yearly exhibit - this year it will focus on the pottery of Edgerton, Wisconsin.

One kind of interesting thing is that they will do an free informal appraisal of one pottery piece of your choice at the show. I sure wish they offered this kind of service for California Pottery at some of the antique markets we go to!
