I have to say that this Robaul mug gives me the creeps a bit. Just the way the handle is constructed from the body - it makes it look sort of like an alien’s eyes. Add the fact that the mug is green and… haha. Well, I had to snap a cameraphoto of it anyhow because it was a pottery that we didn’t have listed on the site yet.

I know the Robaul name from a distinctive spiral cigarette box design that I’ve seen a few times in other antique malls. This was the first time I saw the mug by them, however. I’m wondering if they made a pitcher to go with the mugs, or if these were standalone items. I actually considered purchasing the mug, but if I remember correctly the price was just way too high for a mug like this.

In addition, I’ve been trying to cut down on the number of mugs that we currently have. Let me just say there are boxes and boxes of them in garage just sitting around. I might have to try and get rid of a few sometime in the next year - we just have too many.
