All three of these mold-cast vases were made by Pottery Craft, which was a division of Treasure Craft and supposedly a planned collaboration between Robert Maxwell and Treasure Craft. However, none of Robert Maxwell’s designs were actually used (this is a common misconception by many Ebay sellers).

The thing about Pottery Craft is that even though it’s highly derivative, it’s relatively common to find it at thrifts. The reason for this is that it’s often not marked, or at least not marked clearly. This makes it sort of fun to collect. I still need to take a group shot of all the Pottery Craft I’ve found at thrifts - I must have at least 30-40 pieces. One of these days, I also need to put together a guide on how to identify “unmarked” Pottery Craft items. Well, for the most part, once you figure out a few different patterns and shapes, you’ll never miss it again.

While one Pottery Craft vase isn’t too much to get excited about, I feel that when you group them together, they tend to look a lot better. The large 11 inch tall vase was a recent estate sale find.
