Madeline Originals Vase

I spotted this Madeline Originals vase at the thrift store the other day. Sorry about the blurry camera pic, but my phone doesn’t take very good photos. Ordinarily, this isn’t the kind of item I would buy, let alone even give a second glance. It just looks “newer”, like it was made in the 1980s, and the bright pink definitely didn’t help its cause. However, I’d seen some newer Jaru Art Product items that looked similar, so I picked up the enormous vase.
I was surprised to see the remnants of the bottom sticker which I immediately recognized as Madeline Originals. This is the third time I’ve seen their “newer” looking items in the thrift store, and they almost always have a foil sticker like this with no other markings. That leads me to believe that there are a significant amount of unidentified Madeline pieces out there, since I almost certainly wouldn’t be able to identify them if there was no sticker. I know the company began making items in the late 40s and progressed up until at least the 70s. However, because of the look of vases like this, I believe it’s highly likely they made items into the 1980s (and beyond?) as well.
