Laurel Potteries - Seaside

I’d forgotten to post a picture of the Laurel Potteries items I found a few years ago. This is one of my favorite shapes, although I have to admit the weird nutmeg pink is not my favorite color. I would’ve rather found this in green or blue, but I found it difficult to pass up this entire set for only a few dollars.
This one is the Seaside line, or at least that’s what I think the line is. Laurel made quite a few different lines of dinnerware, usually using pastel speckled colors for glazes. They’re similar to Bauer and Santa Anita items, but I actually find a lot of Laurel items look similar to Russel Wright’s American Modern line (and it appears that in many cases the similarity was intentional). Laurel is rather difficult to find in perfect condition, which is another reason I picked up this set. The dinnerware is extremely susceptible to chips, and also they released a lot of flawed items (chips and damage glazed over) as normal ware instead of “seconds”. Mine has some of those flaws that were simply glazed over.
The pitcher is the only item that had the Laurel stamp on the back. I’ve seen quite a few of the creamers go unrecognized because of the lack of a stamp.
