Just to let you know that Jack Chipman, noted pottery collector and author of a few of the best books on California pottery, is having a little sale this weekend to clear out excess inventory. It’s coming up this Saturday, June 21 from 10-3pm at his residence.

Some of the items for sale will be from potteries and makers like: Bauer, Pacific, Brayton-Laguna, Metlox, Marc Bellaire, Sasha Brastoff, Barbara Willis, Denwar, Madeline, Campo, Winfield, Robert Maxwell, Jaru, Guppy and Denwar.

Jack is the author of both Collector’s Encyclopedia of California Pottery and California Pottery Scrapbook, as well as the out of print Bauer book and a consultant and contributor on numerous other books on pottery. He’s also a talented artist and his studio will be available for anyone interested in purchasing his artwork at the pottery sale.
