Funny, I was just thinking that we hadn’t found any Howard Pierce at the thrift stores in awhile and then this nice little bunny appeared today at the Goodwill. This isn’t the extremely popular Howard Pierce “modern jackrabbit” that we’ve been looking for, but it’s a nice little rabbit anyhow. It’s actually much larger than I had thought it’d be, nearly life sized I would think.

We didn’t see this particular rabbit in the Howard Pierce book, although the shape seems to be similar to some of the concrete statuary that Pierce did for Joshua Tree. Not too sure if this little guy also was sold with rabbit friends, or if it was a singular bunny.
