Frank Moreno Blue 1-Globe

To tell you the truth, even though these Frank Moreno Ceramics globes are pretty collectible, I’ve been passing on them lately. The reason are threefold - they’re often in pretty bad shape, we don’t have much more room for large pottery, and they’re often too expensive. Even at the thrifts, I think they’re catching on that some people collect it. I guess I’ve only myself (and this website) to blame for that, haha.
Still, this blue 1-Globe was the right price at a dollar, even if it was chipped and had plenty of crazing. Plus, I didn’t have an example of this smallest size. Also, I think I might just put another succulent in it. Lately, we’ve been attempting to exercise our green thumbs using some of the spare California pottery lying around in the garage. The going is slow so far, but it’s nice to make use of some of our vintage items as planters.

I have a large black Moreno artichoke planter, marked, and in good condition (a couple tiny nicks on the inside edge). But someone else would care for it more than I - I just rescued it from a bad TS.
If anyone is looking for this….
Thanks for this great website,
Liz.
