I came across these interesting candleholders made by The Bennetts of California a few months back. A dollar a piece, so they came home with me from the thrift - even though I don’t currently have any long stem candles to try them out with. They’d been used quite a bit, there was a lot of candlewax inside of them that needed to be dug out.
Apparently, The Bennetts made quite a few items like this. The style could be called similar to Barbara Willis. At the flea market awhile ago, I saw some different Bennetts pieces featuring a “squiggle” shaped gold leaf design on a squarish pillowvase. I’ve learned this line of theirs was named Serpentine.
