Earlier, I’d mentioned that the new Bauer Pottery company was planning on launching a Russel Wright American Modern line in 2009. I just received word that the line should be available to the public sometime this month. It’s already debuted at the various gift shows around the country.

I’m pretty excited to see the line come out, and am hoping that there will be a few pieces available at the “Seconds Sale” that they’ve started holding nearly every first weekend of the month. We’ll be heading out to either this month’s or next month’s sale to take a look.

Also, Russel Wright Studios is holding a giveaway in conjunction with Bauer with the prize being a complete service of American Modern for six people! There are actually four different colors to choose from when you sign up for a chance to win: Coral, Chartreuse, Seafoam and Granite Grey. You can enter the contest here.

Update 4/20/09: Woo, just got word that the Russel Wright stuff is now available in the Bauer store! They’re also going to have it at the upcoming seconds sale the weekend of May 2,3.
