The other day, I was just saying how I hadn’t really found any Bauer at the thrift in awhile. The very next day, I found what I believe is a Bauer Rose Bowl in Monterey Blue. The shape sure looks like it, but I wasn’t sure of the color at first. It also seems a good deal rougher than the earlier Fred Johnson Rose Bowl I found. However, it does have the carved out button indentation on the bottom of the bowl, and is unmarked. It has a few glaze skips along the side, though I know that occurs often with these items. In any case, it looks nice next to that other Bauer rose bowl I have. I’ve been wondering whether to actually put plants inside of these, or just display them plain.
