Just a quick note that the 2009 American Art Pottery Association Convention is coming up in a few weeks. Since it’s happening in Pennsylvania, we won’t be attending - but if you happen to be in the area you might want to check it out. It’s taking place from Wed April 22 to Sunday April 26, 2009. Some of the events happening during the convention include a tour of The Stickley Museum in Parsippany, New Jersey, a bus tour to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, seminars with four potters of the present generation (Enduring Fires: Artists of the American Art Pottery Revival) as well as Suzanne Perrault, the AAPA Art Pottery auction and the AAPA Art pottery show and sale.
