Featured Enchanto Co. items (view more)The Enchanto Company was based in Burbank made a number of different pottery items in the 1950s. What I tend to see most often are buffet servers, covered dishes, leaf candy dishes and trays. They also made figurines, wall pockets, vases and TV lamps but I don’t see as many of those online.
They used a number of different glazes, but often in blue, green or pink. Some of their items, including the applied flower trinket boxes, remind me of Vee Jackson. They also have a set of pear-shaped bowls that remind me an awful lot of Lou Hoenig’s apple dishes.
I believe most of the items are indeed marked as “Enchanto Co.” or “Enchanto”, and most of the time it’s an inmold stamp. However, I believe they may have used foil stickers at times as well, especially on smaller items.
