I think I’ve only seen one Bill Meyer piece previously, and that was an ashtray. Not much information to go on this pottery business run by William H. Meyer and represented by Dick Knox. The pottery was located in modern day West Hollywood, actually just south of West Hollywood Park. The date of production for his items seems to be in the 1940s. That’s pretty much the extent of what I know about this potter.

Jack Chipman’s book has a photo of an interesting piece of Meyer’s that features a goat along with a weird covering of thin strands of what looks like noodles. He says they made bowls, figurines, boxes and ashtrays. Note that Bill Meyer is not related to the Meyers Pottery that produced California Rainbow.

Note: We've tried to provide as much info as possible on this pottery maker or artist. For further info, you may want to research the items they have on Ebay listed under this name. We've tried to hand tailor the searches below so they will bring up the most accurate results. If there are no results, it will list general California pottery.
