I haven’t been able to find too much solid information on pottery produced by A.C. Davey, but the items seem to be fairly common. Neither Chipman or Lehner mentions the company. Most often, we see ashtrays, covered boxes and figurines - they seem to have made Pixies as well. There’s also a beverage set that comes in pastel blue, pink or green that is marked only with a paper sticker (I believe this set is shown in one of Michael Pratt’s books? We don’t have any of his books yet, though).
We found information online that state that AC Davey (presumably a woman?) used molds to produce her ceramic pieces. Unsure as to the location of the pottery, but stickers have said “Glendale” previously so we’ve included that in the location. As mentioned previously, many items have inmold marks on the bottom saying “A.C. Davey”, while others were only marked with a paper sticker which was removed.
